Rene Griffith’s works are layered in different mediums; with arrays of charcoal, paint, wax, magazine pieces, maps and other materials, her works are alive with intrigue and certainly invite the viewer to dissect their various meanings. Rene’s pieces are reminiscent of an older age of inspiration, while being simultaneously modern; they portray feelings, places and experiences. Working from her private studio, Rene works to create pieces for hotels, homeowners and businesses. Rene’s pieces have been featured in galleries in California, Florida, South Carolina and have been included in many corporate and private collections as well.
